Hollis H. Reese - President

Hollis H. Reese is the President and founder of Rome Mortgage Company.  He has been in the mortgage industry since 1992.  In 1994, after working for both large and small mortgage brokers, Mr. Reese founded Rome Mortgage Company.  Rome Mortgage began its existence as a three person office in Rome, Georgia, but has since grown into the largest mortgage broker in Northwest Georgia, with offices in Dalton and Rome, Georgia.

Mr. Reese is a 1978 Honors graduate from Darlington School and a 1982 graduate from Auburn University with a degree in Business and Finance.  In 1983, he entered the United States Air Force and graduated from pilot training at Reese Air Force Base, Texas.  While in the Air Force, Mr. Reese earned the rank of captain and was a T-33 Instructor Pilot and Test Pilot. Mr. Reese served as a Lear Jet Captain in the Washington, DC Air National Guard flying VIP Transport, and later in the Alabama Air National Guard as a Reconnaissance/Fighter Pilot flying the RF-4.  He was awarded Top Gun at Holoman AFB, NM in 1988.  Mr. Reese is a recently retired A330 International pilot for Northwest Airlines.

He is married to the former Cathy Wilcox, has two children, Hallie and Cate, and is an active member of the First Presbyterian Church of Rome.
